My first project that I uploaded to GitHub was a raffle system built using Java, Swing GUI, and a txt file for saving data.
From doing simple websites and mobile apps in college, I progressed into internships to have a taste of real world projects. Then, I earned my bachelor’s degree in information technology and graduated as a magna cum laude.
Now, I landed a fulltime software development role on Lexmark, and worked as a freelance full stack web developer on my free time.
I'm most comfortable using VueJS and NestJS, but I can also work with other JS/TS frameworks and libraries.
I use Java for my full time work, and also on projects that prefer compiled languages. Python is my Swiss army knife for automation and other stuffs :D
Outside work, I mostly do PC gaming and going out with friends/SO/family. I also know how to play a bit of billiards and table tennis.
Coffee and foods are my go-to stress relievers.
I have worked with these
This project achieves one of my developer bucket list: to have my own personal website (mobile-responsive too!). This was also a refresher for me to do a plain HTML, SASS, JS page from the UI design I made in Figma.
One of my favorite projects from college, and our capstone as a team of 5 developers. This was a research management system with realtime drag-and-drop editor for authoring research papers. It also features an autoformatter, comments, submissions and feedback system. We used this as a venue to simulate working in the industry, where it includes a figma design, UML diagrams, simple CI/CD, docker and deployed to Azure (took it down when our student credits were exhausted). My role was the lead, and full stack developer.
